Happy Friday! I'm pleased to welcome a new
#TCGMemberTheatre Short North Stage from Columbus, Ohio! Short North is led by artistic director Edward Carignan and executive director Edna Mae Berkey and has been in operation since 2011 bringing first-class live performance to the greater Columbus region.
Primarily focused in musical theatre or "music-driven work", Short North Stage seeks to
celebrate familiar, re-invite less well-known, and nurture new works. This fall they will open the newly renovated Garden Theater, which originally housed vaudeville acts dating back to 1920, marking the end of an eight-year reconstruction project. Short North Stage sees itself as part of the solution towards revitalizing Columbus' economy, as well as adding to the "cultural allure of the city".
