Are you a transgender or non-binary theatre creator? Are you interested in connecting with like minded artists and other persons in the field? Then welcome to New York’s new unofficial Transgender and Non-Binary Theatre Creator Affinity Space.
We deserve a place where we can come together and be with each other. In an industry where we can often feel excluded, let’s hold space for each other and ourselves.
We encourage everyone who’s trans/non-binary and interested in working in theatre to attend this event. We welcome folx from all stages of professional development and curiosity.
When? April 29th, 2019 from 7pm-10pm
Where? Theatre Communications Group office at 520 Eighth Ave., 24th Fl, New York, NY.
How can I get into the building? Please bring a government issued ID to show to the front desk. Once you’re inside, take the high-rise on your right to the 24th floor. Once you get there call extension 212 from the (free) phone in the front lobby. Someone will let you in!
Is the event accessible? The space has an elevator and is free and open to all.
