Omicron and Beyond: A Webinar for Theatres on Current and Future Variants

The Omicron has already joined the Delta variant in upending the reopening processes of theatres. While Omicron may cause milder symptoms, it is still swelling hospitals alongside the continued dangers of the Delta variant. What does Omicron’s increased infectiousness mean for theatres’ mitigation practices? How can theatres prepare for potential future variants? What does it mean for the live performing arts for COVID-19 to become endemic?

Join us Friday, January 21, 2022 from 4-5pm ET/3-4pm CT/1-2pm PT for our Omicron and Beyond: A Webinar for Theatres on Current and Future Variants. We’ll hear from noted public health experts Dr. Robert L Murphy, the executive director at the Institute for Global Health and John Philip Phair Professor of Infectious Diseases at the Feinberg School of Medicine; and Dr. Eduardo Sanchez the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Prevention at the American Heart Association, and board member of Dallas Summer Musicals, where he advised on their successful reopening. We’ll learn how to weather this next wave, and what might be next in our fight against the pandemic.

This webinar will be recorded. Please send questions that you would like to see addressed on the webinar to Corinna at cschulenburg@tcg.org in advance.
