I am writing on behalf of TCG’s philanthropic and business partners with information on upcoming funding opportunities and an initiative to support your individual giving efforts.
- First, the Theater & Musical Theater team at The National Endowment for the Arts is offering two grant workshops on Nov 19th and December 2nd. While these workshops are tailored to first time and previously unsuccessful applicants, all are welcome! Please visit this link for additional information. The NEA recommends reading the following page before attending to learn more about the funding opportunity.
- Second, as many know, The Shubert Foundation is the nation’s largest funder dedicated to unrestricted funding of not-for-profit theatres. The theatre program application deadline is December 2, 2020, at 6 pm ET. For more information, please visit their website.
- Lastly, TRG Arts is offering a Three-Part Development Data Dive for $99 on the topic of individual giving. Participants will complete three short surveys (once a month, for three months), TRG will analyze the results, and then gather with participating development teams to share insights about what’s working and what’s not in individual giving campaigns from coast to coast. Additional information can be found here. Registration deadline is November 18th! The first topic is: Acquisition Strategies and Results.
