COVID-19 Prepare, Mitigate, Recover

I'm writing from a meeting to share two big pieces of news with you:

• First, my co-leader Laurie Baskin has been doing amazing work with the Cultural Advocacy Group and Performing Arts Alliance to advocate for not-for-profit theatres at the federal level. I encourage you to read her latest update Latest News as COVID Relief Moves through Congress, and I know she'll have more information for you all shortly, as she's in the thick of it right now.
• For NYC-area theatres, big news: Mellon Foundation Joins Consortium Supporting Small and Mid-size Arts Organizations through $75-million NYC COVID-19 Response & Impact Fund, NYC-theatres up to $20 million can apply for unrestricted, flexible funding to support new and emergency needs and meet community demands; temporary staff support to cover for shortages caused by employees who are ill, may have to quarantine, or stay home to care for family members or children during school closures; and more.

We're continuing to add resources like there to the Relief & Recover library entry (I just added one for theatremakers in Washington, DC).

Has anyone had any luck finding any assistance programs for arts organizations in California? Specifically looking for employee retention grants or the like. I've looked everywhere I can think of at the moment, but I'm open to any suggestions!
