Conference Field Trips

As one of the first optional experiences of the Conference proper, Conference attendees will have the opportunity to join excursions to various cultural sites and venues around Miami. These "field trips" generally include a touring element, along with an experiential component, and are designed and hosted in partnership with our Host Committee to create three-hour long adventures that are most evocative of Miami's culture and history. This year’s trips include: 
Calle Ocho & Little Havana, Wynwood, Little Haiti, Miami Beach

All-Conference Plenary Session

As part of the Conference’s commitment to engaging with the cultural landscape our host city, some of Miami’s most active local theatres, such as City Theatre, Juggerknot Theatre Company, Combat Hippies, and Miami New Drama bring their work and artists to the forefront of this plenary, curated by Host Committee Co-chair, Beth Boone of Miami Light Project.

XR Experience Spaces

Don a headset and dive into Hamlet 360: Thy Father’s Spirit, or become a virtual avatar in High Fidelity and interface with live collaborators in other cities. Additional experiences will also be available from Magic Leap, as well as theatre artists like Brandon Powers, FilmGate Miami, and Alive in Plasticland.
