Hello everyone!
Tonight, TCG celebrates its 60th Anniversary at its Gala: OUR STORIES.
As the team puts the final touches to the celebration, we wanted to extend a special invitation to all of you to join us in celebrating this year’s honorees: TCG’s partner in federal advocacy, the Performing Arts Alliance; and Ricardo Khan, playwright and founder of Crossroads Theatre Company.
We’ll also be premiering two virtual performances created exclusively for TCG, from the cast of Cambodian Rock Band and the young artists of Market Theatre Laboratory in Johannesburg, South Africa. And we’ll close the night with something entirely new for us – a virtual LIVE drag afterparty hosted by Shequida. She’ll be rolling out the virtual red carpet with a few surprises, performances, and lip sync battles. So, come as you are or get glammed up, and join the live party!
This gala is also TCG’s first since we adopted our new mission, to lead for a just and thriving theatre ecology, and it would be so special to have you there for this momentous occasion.

Where: TCGgala.org is where we’ll go LIVE, where you can access the virtual afterparty and gala journal, and where you can support TCG throughout the evening.
Attire & Accessories: If this is your first virtual gala, we’ve got you covered! Below our our tips for a great evening:
- Dress to impress: while we may all be tuning in from the couch, who said we can’t tune in in style? Get glammed up, or rock your best comfort couture, and turn that camera on for the afterparty!
- Grab your favorite beverage: Unless you purchased one of our Party Packs, be sure you’re equipped with some bubbly, or whatever beverage will make you happiest. Having your favorite beverage snacks close by is also encouraged!
