Danai Gurira, Stephen Daldry, Lynn Nottage have come together to organize a special event to get out the vote – Act Out: Vote 2020, a series of short, all new monologues and songs that will make up an hour-long video encouraging audiences to vote in the upcoming elections. Written, directed and performed by some of the most important voices in the American Theatre, Act Out: Vote 2020 will be available to stream on October 29 at 9:00 PM EDT.

The evening will include a series of nonpartisan artistic pieces encouraging civic engagement in the upcoming election. Participating artists include Luis Alfaro, Saheem Ali, Ngozi Anyanwu, Will Arbery, Jocelyn Bioh, Lileana Blain-Cruz, Steven H. Broadnax III, Yvette Nicole Brown, Stephen Daldry, Lady Dane Figueroa Edidi, Danai Gurira, Ryan J.
