TCG is hiring a temporary part-time associate in our Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Initiatives Department. Do you believe in the power of theatre to work toward equity? Here are the basics:
Theatre Communications Group, the national organization for the American theatre, seeks a temporary (3-4 days per week from date of hire through June 30, 2019 – up to 30 hours/week), Part-Time Associate to join TCG’s newly created Department of EDI Initiatives offering administrative and logistical support, as well as supporting coordination for our EDI projects. This position requires a flexible, organized, and community-driven individual who feels strongly about advancing a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive theatre field. The individual must be able to travel to Miami, FL for the National Conference, and be available on site at the Conference from June 3-June 6, 2019. Working with the Director EDI Initiatives, the Associate should have a commitment to our mission and core values; outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; a strong work ethic and attention to details; deep interest in lifting up the voices and work of underrepresented communities; and ideally, grassroots community experience with LGBTQ, gender equity and/or disability initiatives.
