Ever since I started working with the Wallace Foundation, I'd heard about Magda Martinez. The impact of her work is beautifully chronicled in Staying Relevant in a Changing Neighborhood: How Fleisher Art Memorial is Adapting to Shifting Community Demographics. So I was thrilled when Magda agreed to join a session I was designing for the 2018 Fall Forum. And as she shared with powerful eloquence how organizational change really happens, it became clear we had nowhere near enough time.

Well, folx, now we have time.

I'm thrilled to share that Magda Martinez, now the COO of Mural Arts Philadelphia, is joining us for a featured webinar on her work! Here are the details:

April 23, 3-4pm ET

When audience-building efforts focus solely on external barriers and opportunities, they can miss challenges that lie within an organization. In
Evolve to Thrive, participants will hear from Magda Martinez, COO of Mural Arts Philadelphia, on how to enact and evaluate internal change processes. We’ll discuss how market research can support a deeper knowledge of our institutions’ relationships with current and future audiences. We’ll envision “living institutions” that shift power in continuous evolution with the communities they serve.

This webinar is made possible through a partnership with the Wallace Foundation. To access the Foundation’s resources on audience building in the arts, please visit: www.wallacefoundation.org/buildingaudiences
