Picnic at the Miami Circle: A Climate Justice Dinearound
Topic: Dine under open sky and share conversations around site specific theatre, eco-theatre, ecologically sustainable practice in theater, and producing and presenting climate and environmental justice centered performance. The Miami Circle is ancestral Tequesta Indian site, and an established public park, and is one of the only archeological spaces representing their culture in urban Miami. This unique space is culturally and historically relevant to ongoing conversations regarding green theatre and climate justice in the performing arts (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miami_Circle). Hosts will provide a delicious, mostly plant-based picnic style meal. The location is a fifteen minute walk from the hotel, or a 11-13 minute car ride.
